Here is the recipe we used to make applesauce today:
Crock Pot Applesauce

10 large apples, peeled, cored and cut into small chunks
1/2 cup water
1/2-1 cup sugar (we used 1/2 cup brown sugar)
1 teaspoon cinnamon
(I added some fresh squeezed lemon juice, too, to keep the apples from getting too brown.)
Put all ingredients into crockpot.
Cover and cook on low 8-10 hours (or high 3-4 hours).
Smush apples with potato masher or whisk.
Enjoy!
